Lora Font is a free, open-source serif typeface available from Google Fonts. Lora's italics have a very calligraphic feel and look great rendered on screen. Lora is available in four weights with matching italics.

Lora is a balanced contemporary serif with roots in calligraphy. It is a text typeface with a moderate contrast very suitable for the body of the text. A paragraph set in Lora will have a memorable appearance due to its brushed curves in contrast to the driving serifs. Lora's overall typographic voice perfectly conveys the mood of a modern story or art essay. Technically, Lora is optimized for screen appearance and performs equally well in print.

Lora is a Unicode typeface family that supports languages using the Latin and Cyrillic scripts and their variants and could be extended to support other scripts.
